In addition, new shows from Shaun The Sheep and Timmy Time will stream on Prime Instant Video, including seasons 3 and 4 of Shaun The Sheep, the Shaun The Sheep: Championsheeps special and two new Timmy Time specials.
Best known for its Oscar-winning Wallace & Gromit short films, Aardman Animations also produced an Oscar-winning feature based on the two characters, Curse Of The Were-Rabbit, and is currently producing a full-length feature based on Shaun The Sheep to be theatrically released in spring 2015.
“As we get ready to release our Shaun The Sheep feature film next year, we know that Prime members will be eager to catch up on all the past adventures of their favorite animated characters,” said Robin Gladman, digital content & partner manager at Aardman Animations.
The shows join Prime Instant Video’s existing kids programming which includes shows from Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora The Explorer and Team Umizoomi. Amazon has also produced a kids series in-house, Tumble Leaf, which also streams on Prime Instant Video.
